Lewis Pratten

Founder & Head Coach

Lewis started Hyre because he believed coaching could be better, more honest, more effective, and more human.

 

With over a decade of experience coaching and a background in strength & conditioning, he's helped people from all walks of life get physically and mentally stronger.

 

As a coach, he brings energy, genuine care, and one simple goal, to make your session at Hyre the best hour of your day.

Mac

Head of Wellness

Mac joined Hyre with no qualifications, no plan, and absolutely no intention of doing any exercise himself, and yet became the most beloved member of the entire team.

As Head of Wellness, his approach is simple: greet everyone at the door, find the sunniest spot in the gym, and radiate good energy until it's time for a nap.

As a coach, he can't spot your squat or fix your form, but he'll sit next to you while you do it, and honestly that's often enough.

Leah Newton

Coach

Leah found her love for lifting through competition, and quickly discovered that the confidence and strength it built in the gym carried into every other part of her life.

With a background in powerlifting and a natural ability to make people feel at home, she brings real expertise and genuine warmth to every session.

As a coach, she brings genuine care and the ability to help push you to dig deeper than you thought you could.

Emily has always believed that fitness should feel like a release, a space for creativity, expression, and working through whatever life throws at you.

With a passion for movement and playlists that hit harder than most sessions, she brings an energy to every class that's impossible not to feed off.

As a coach, she creates a space where everyone leaves feeling better than when they arrived.

Coach

Minnie brings a level of energy and attention to every session that's hard to match, the kind of coach who notices everything and leaves no one behind.

When she's not coaching, she's competing in Ironmans and pushing her own limits, while encouraging and supporting others to do the same. 

 

As a coach, she brings relentless energy, a sharp eye for detail, and the kind of drive that's genuinely contagious.
